Hello unfolds as a suspended telephone exchange between two distant loudspeakers, positioned in opposing corners and connected by drifting wires that recall an accidental find: thrift-store speakers already fitted with telephone ports, as if waiting for this dialogue to re-emerge. Through this improvised circuit, a man and a woman speak without narrative, offering only fragments of acknowledgement. Hello, mmm, aha, really. Floating in pauses heavy with implication. Meaning dissolves into tone, cadence and hesitation. What remains is not conversation, but the echo of communication itself, where the listener is left to imagine the invisible story unfolding between these two unseen presences.
