De School Hillegom Exhibition
In March 2025, I was invited as a guest artist to participate in the exhibition of De School in Hillegom. The exhibition took place in a former electronics and white-goods store in the centre of Hillegom. The space had been vacant for some time and, with permission from the municipality, was temporarily made available for use as an exhibition venue. Artist collective De School had previously exhibited in this same empty retail space in earlier years. I was asked to take part in this edition and was given access to a section of the building that had not been used before. This area was temporarily adapted to present my BAUKLANK works. The raw and unfinished character of the space proved to be a strong match for the installations. Its former function as an electronics shop also aligned naturally with my practice. After all, every work needs a plug. All electrical infrastructure had to be installed temporarily for the duration of the exhibition. In total, I presented 15 works within the space.
